A group in robes together between sauna rounds

Private Groups

The sauna, just for your people.

Book the whole thing. No strangers, no schedule to share — just your group, the heat, the cold and the mountains.

What people book us for

A private session works for almost any reason to get a group together outdoors in winter. These come up most often.

Birthdays

A different kind of celebration, and one nobody has done before.

Bachelor & bachelorette weekends

Steamboat is already the destination. This is the part of the weekend everyone remembers.

Family gatherings

Holidays, reunions, or a trip where everyone actually talks to each other.

Team offsites

Phones away, no screens, no agenda. It does more than a conference room.

Friends in town

Visitors who have skied all day and want something different for the evening.

Just because

No occasion required. Some groups simply prefer the sauna to themselves.

How a private booking works

01

Tell us what you have in mind

Email or call with your group size, the dates you're considering, and anything you're celebrating. A rough idea is enough to start.

02

We confirm the details

We'll come back with available times, what it costs for your group, and anything worth knowing before you commit.

03

You show up

Arrive a few minutes early, meet your host, and the sauna is yours for the session.

Before you ask

Can we bring food or drinks?

The state park permits outside food and alcohol, but glass is prohibited anywhere in the park. We ask that you bring only water into the saunas — anything else is best enjoyed after your session.

What if our group has different comfort levels?

That's normal, and it's easier in a private session than a communal one. People move between the heat, the cold and the open air at their own pace, and nobody has to do anything they don't want to.

Can we book more than one sauna?

Yes, for larger groups. Tell us how many people you have and we'll work out the arrangement.

Can we bring children?

Yes. Private sessions are open to ages 5 and up, and anyone 17 or under needs a parent or guardian present.

What happens if the weather turns?

Sessions run in snow and cold — that's the point of a winter sauna. If conditions ever force a change we'll contact you directly.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel or reschedule 24 hours or more before your session for a full refund. Inside 24 hours you receive credit towards a future visit. Same-day changes are not eligible for credit or a refund.

Tell us about your group.

Send us the date you have in mind and how many people, and we'll come back with options.
